New Album from G Love & Special Sauce “sugar”

Twenty years ago G. Love & Special Sauce released their first album. 20 years later they will be releasing a brand new album, “Sugar” set for release on 4/22/201. “Sugar” sees the return of James “Jimi Jazz”  Prescott back on the stand up bass for the first time in eight years. Good news people, G. Love is back with some new tunes for a special Record Store Day release entitled Blood Shot and Blue. Blood Shot and Blue was recorded here at Brushfire last Fall, will be out April 20th on 10″ vinyl and limited to 2,000 copies. More details to come…

G. Love Rocking Everest

Right now our boy G. Love in the midst of a 14 day musical trek to the Everest Base Camp for Everest Rocks 2. Thirty eight musicians, cancer survivors and mountaineers have set off to reach Kalapathur where they had previously set a record for the highest (elevation) concert ever performed. Put together by Love Hope Strength, a group set out to improve cancer care around the globe. We wish G. and the rest of the crew good luck!
